Our History
Andy’s Engine & Mechanical is the creation of Andy McArthur back in 2017. Andy went out on his own, armed with a Land Rover Defender, a hoist, plenty of tools and a lifetime of industry knowledge. This recipe was an instant hit within the community. Shortly after his business launch, he acquired the site at 11 Mitchell Street in 2019. Soon thereafter he employed his full-time engineer, tyre technician and automotive mechanic. Fast forward to 2023 and we see the addition of a second full-time engineer, full-time field technician, apprentice field technician and new general manager. Our employee number sits at 10 with six specialist vehicles set up for our work. With this rapid growth over the past six years, we look forward to where the future is taking us.
